Obama promised in 2007: No more spying on citizens who are not suspected of a crime, No More NSA Illegal Wiretaps, Man I fell For This One.

Of course, our President also swore to uphold the US Constitution . . . Amendment IV of the Bill of Rights, US Constitution: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” US Constitution, Amendment IV of the Bill of Rights (But, NSA ‘rethought’ the 4th Ammendment to the Bill of Rights)

Why surveillance is not OK

I live in a country generally assumed to be a dictatorship. One of the Arab spring countries. I have lived through curfews and have seen the outcomes of the sort of surveillance now being revealed in the US. People here talking about curfews aren’t realizing what that actually FEELS like. It isn’t about having to go inside, and the practicality of that. It’s about creating the feeling that everyone, everything is watching. A few points:

1) the purpose of this surveillance from the governments point of view is to control enemies of the state. Not terrorists. People who are coalescing around ideas that would destabilize the status quo. These could be religious ideas. These could be groups like anon who are too good with tech for the governments liking. It makes it very easy to know who these people are. It also makes it very simple to control these people.

Lets say you are a college student and you get in with some people who want to stop farming practices that hurt animals. So you make a plan and go to protest these practices. You get there, and wow, the protest is huge. You never expected this, you were just goofing off. Well now everyone who was there is suspect. Even though you technically had the right to protest, you’re now considered a dangerous person.

With this tech in place, the government doesn’t have to put you in jail. They can do something more sinister. They can just email you a sexy picture you took with a girlfriend. Or they can email you a note saying that they can prove your dad is cheating on his taxes. Or they can threaten to get your dad fired. All you have to do, the email says, is help them catch your friends in the group. You have to report back every week, or you dad might lose his job. So you do. You turn in your friends and even though they try to keep meetings off grid, you’re reporting on them to protect your dad.

In a poll by the well-respected New England Journal of Medicine released today, more than three out of four doctors recommended medical cannabis for a hypothetical late-stage breast cancer patient.

• A total of 1446 votes were cast from 72 countries and 56 states and provinces in North America, and 118 comments were posted.
• Analysis of voting across all regions of North America showed that 76% of voters supported medicinal marijuana and 78% of voting doctors outside the U.S. supported the use of medicinal marijuana.

“We were surprised by the outcome of polling and comments, with 76% of all votes in favor of the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes — even though marijuana use is illegal in most countries,” Jonathan N. Adler, M.D., and James A. Colbert, M.D. wrote for the NEJOM May 30th.

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief.

About 30 close associates of bin Laden in Al Qaeda, including his most trusted and personal bodyguards, his family members and some “Taliban friends,” attended the funeral rites. A volley of bullets was also fired to pay final tribute to the “great leader.”

“NO MORE HESITATION” Cardboard Targets for DHS Target Practice

Paul Joseph Watson has uncovered proof that a U.S. based company called “Law Enforcement Training, Inc.” has been selling millions of dollars worth of “no hesitation” targets to the Department of Homeland Security.

Target Practice: Women in their homes.

These targets (see images) are used to train DHS employees to shoot American citizens and they depict pregnant women, old men, children and even young moms with guns. The purpose of the targets, according to the company that sells them, is to “eliminate any hesitation” that U.S. government employees might normally feel in shooting to kill pregnant women, children and old men. (I’m not making this up. The government’s plan to murder Americans is now right out in the open . . .)

  Target Practice: Kids.

  A government does not push to disarm the American people for no reason.  A government does not buy 1.6 billion bullets for no reason–enough ammo to wage a 7-year war with the American people.

• The Department of Homeland Security does not buy cardboard targets of pregnant women, young mothers and old men for no reason. They are buying these targets because this is who they are training to kill. Keep in mind that DHS “officers” do not take an oath of office, meaning they do not swear any allegiance to the U.S. Constitution. Their only allegiance is to their paycheck and their dangerous sense of power.

He lied his way to the top, he collected hundreds of millions of dollars by cheating, he bullied and threatened anyone who got in his way, and now in a “confession” to Oprah Winfrey, Armstrong admitted to doping with EPO, testosterone and blood transfusions during ALL his Tour de France races.

Flu, Flu, Flu–what to do?

Media is wasting no time in pushing for more vaccinations this flu season. Each year seems to hit a new level of hype surrounding the seasonal flu.

Yet, the flu vaccine as a whole only reduces the number of people who get the flu from 2.7 per 100 to 1.2 per 100, as described here, and here. In other words, 100 people have to get the flu shot (with all its “side effects”) to reduce the number of flu cases from 2.7 to 1.2.

Whooooo Hooooooo!! The media touts this as “59% effectiveness”.

What do you think?

Flu shots contain incredibly nasty stuff–see the CDC’s ingredients lists here and here. Which may explain why there’s so many documented “side-effects” from flu shots:

• Vaccinations are linked to diabetes,
• Vaccinations are linked to autoimmune disorders,
• Aluminum adjuvants in vaccines are linked to autism,
• Flu shots during pregnancy lead to 4,250 percent increase in fetal deaths,
• Countries that vaccinate more have higher rates of infant mortality.

Authoritative reviews reveal there is a conspicuous absence of conclusive evidence as to the effectiveness of influenza vaccines in children under 2, healthy adults, the elderly, and healthcare workers who care for the elderly. In fact, vaccines may actually decrease resistance to viral infection via their immunosuppressive actions. Infants Receiving More Vaccines–are more likely to be hospitalized or die

Vaccine sweetie?

A new study, published in Human and Experimental Toxicology, a peer-reviewed journal indexed by the National Library of Medicine, analyzed more than 38,000 reports of infant hospitalizations and deaths following vaccinations.[1]

Researchers found statistically significant correlations between the number of vaccine doses administered to infants and infant hospitalization and mortality rates: babies who receive the most vaccines tend to have higher (worse) hospitalization and death rates. (Source)

Never let a good crisis go to waste . . .

To “protect” our children Senator Boxer wants schools to have:

• Chip lines [requiring our kids to have RFID identification chips]
• Surveillance equipment
• Secured entrances
• Metal detectors
• Other important “safety” measures
• National Guard troops serving as guards at school
• Strengthening the perimeters of school.

According to Senator Boxer, “WE know what works and what doesn’t work.”

Maybe Senator Boxer should require our kids to wear “uniforms” with broad black and white stripes on their shirts and pants! . . . and have Cops patrolling with AR-15s, checking “papers” and conducting TSA-style “pat-downs” on the private parts of suspicious boys and girls! 

Awesome. Why not? Anything for more “safety”.

Let’s do it for the kids.

If you’ve ever been arrested on a drug charge, if you’ve ever spent even a day in jail for having a stem of marijuana in your pocket or “drug paraphernalia” in your gym bag, Assistant Attorney General and longtime Bill Clinton pal Lanny Breuer has a message for you: Bite me.

Breuer this week signed off on a settlement deal with the British banking giant HSBC that is the ultimate insult to every ordinary person who’s ever had his life altered by a narcotics charge. Despite the fact that HSBC admitted to laundering billions of dollars for Colombian and Mexican drug cartels (among others) and violating a host of important banking laws (from the Bank Secrecy Act to the Trading With the Enemy Act), Breuer and his Justice Department elected not to pursue criminal prosecutions of the bank, opting instead for a “record” financial settlement of $1.9 billion, which as one analyst noted is about five weeks of income for the bank.

The banks’ laundering transactions were so brazen that the NSA probably could have spotted them from space. Breuer admitted that drug dealers would sometimes come to HSBC’s Mexican branches and “deposit hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, in a single day, into a single account, using boxes designed to fit the precise dimensions of the teller windows.”

Winner of the 2012 US Presidential Election Is . . .

UPDATE Nov. 7, 2012: I was right! . . . but wish I was wrong.

UPDATE Dec. 26, 2012: Barack Obama received more than 99 percent of the vote in more than 100 precincts in Ohio on election day. Ohio was a very important swing state in Obama’s election. Third world dictators don’t even get 99% of the vote. See the key Ohio precinct vote counts here. Lucky coincidence for Obama that he was so popular in those Ohio precincts.

• Increasing the size of government–through more debt, regulation, entitlements, military spending, etc.
• Restriction of liberties, erosion of the Bill of Rights, expansion of police powers, and the growth of Federal power over States Rights
• Continued multi-trillion-dollar debt-based spending, putting the United States into a position of never-ending debt, and possibly economic collapse.
