The Fukushima 1 plant was equipped with 13 diesel back-up generators to power the Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS), but all of these failed. Battery back-ups are available, but these function only for a few hours. Without the ability to cool the reactor, the outcome is a meltdown, which can occur rapidly after the failure of cooling. Meltdowns may have occurred.

There are 6 reactors at Fukushima 1 and an additional 4 at nearby Fukushima 2. Tokyo Electric (TEPCO) is now indicating that there are cooling problems and dangerous pressure increases at several of these units.

Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPOC), operator and owner of Fukushima nuclear plants, said early on Sunday that a sixth reactor at the nuclear power plants has lost its ability to cool the reactor core since Friday’s quake. (Source)

Yahoo!Finance reports Japan quake-tsunami death toll likely over 10,000, an official said Sunday, as millions of survivors were left without drinking water, electricity and proper food along the pulverized northeastern coast.
The Telegraph reports Japan shuts down as economic fears grow. The three largest motor manufacturers – Toyota, Honda and Nissan – said they would stop production at almost all of their domestic assembly plants. Electronics giant Sony also said it would be shutting down production.
Japan Set to Go Deeper in Debt. Japan’s national debt is 200% of GDP. Of the G20 nations, that is the highest percentage in the world in terms of Debt-to-GDP. Japan cannot afford more debt, but more debt is coming regardless. Bloomberg reports, Japan Plans Spending Package as Quake Slams World’s Most Indebted Economy.

Socialism: In Japan, as in the US, corporations do not pay for the damage they do, the damages are socialized. Taxpayers will have to come up with over $300 billion to bail out their nuclear industry and clean up from its mess. Oil and nuclear power are not benign genies, happy to serve us. Nor is coal. HAARP: Directed Plasma Technology

HAARP employs ground-penetrating radar (GPR) technology and a system of phased array antennas which can “steer” and focus millions of watts of energy into a small area–either above or below ground.

HAARP was originally an SDI (“Star Wars”) project, developed to be a defensive weapon, which could focus huge amounts of electromagnetic energy on a distant spot, in order to potentially disable incoming planes or missiles.

Plasma weapons have already been created in Russia. Their action is based on focusing beams of electromagnetic energy produced by laser or microwave radiation into the upper layers of the atmosphere. . . A cloud of highly ionized air arises at the focus of the laser or microwave rays, at an altitude of up to 50 kilometers. Upon entering it, any object–a missile, an airplane, is deflected from its trajectory and disintegrates in response to the fantastic overloads arising due to the abrupt pressure difference between the surface and interior of the flying body. HAARP and Earthquakes

Tectonic plates strain harder and harder against each other, but due to friction, resist slipping until they overcome that friction and suddenly, and abruptly, move. Earthquake movement may be triggered by a relatively smaller amount of energy–somewhat like a snow avalanche can be triggered by the sound of a shotgun.

Supposedly, to create earthquakes with HAARP, mega-watts of energy are focused on underground water pockets near geographic fault lines, the underground water is boiled, creating an explosive steam pocket, which is powerful enough to release an earthquake.

Skeptics argue it’s impossible. Some argue otherwise . . .

HAARP–whistle blowers or lunatics?

People in Chile saw the sky changing colors in the middle of the night as the earthquake destroyed their city…it was 3am out there, so in the blackness of night, they were watching the sky change colors where there is an absence of color (Black). Atmosphere Above Japan Heated Rapidly Before M9 Earthquake

Infrared emissions above the epicenter increased dramatically in the days before the devastating earthquake in Japan, say scientists.

Teams have set up atmospheric monitoring stations in earthquake zones and a number of satellites are capable of sending back data about the state of the upper atmosphere and the ionosphere during an earthquake.

For example, the DEMETER spacecraft showing a significant increase in ultra-low frequency radio signals before the magnitude 7 Haiti earthquake in January 2010.

Dimitar Ouzounov at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre in Maryland and a few buddies present the data from the Great Tohoku earthquake which devastated Japan on 11 March. They say that before the M9 earthquake, the total electron content of the ionosphere increased dramatically over the epicentre, reaching a maximum three days before the quake struck. At the same time, satellite observations showed a big increase in infrared emissions from above the epicentre, which peaked in the hours before the quake.

In other words, the atmosphere was heating up. (Source)

Benjamin Fulford, in his weekly podcast from Tokyo, alleges “Hazel” Takana, Japan’s finance minister, told him in 2007 “a group of American and European oligarchs” threatened to strike the country with manufactured earthquakes unless [they] ceded control of the Japanese banking system. HAARP Fluxgate Magnetometer (Source)

The chart below is a running plot of the readings taken from the fluxgate magnetometer, built by the University of Alaska, Geophysical Institute, operating at the HAARP ionospheric observatory in Gakona, Alaska. The three traces represent mutually orthogonal components of the earth’s magnetic field as follows:

The “H” component (black trace) is positive magnetic northward
The “D” component (red trace) is positive eastward
The “Z” component (blue trace) is positive downward

Geomagnetic storminess is usually indicated in oscillatory variations in the earth’s magnetic field. Additional detail concerning the nature and severity of the ionospheric disturbance can be found through analysis of the three components of the field.
